3 weeks?!

I'm freaking out juuust a skosh.

Are ya'll getting ready?  Are you selling or shopping at any sales this fall?  How many items?

I'm participating in my local Just Between Friends event that's coming up in a week & a half. I did it for the first time this past Spring - thanks mostly to your blog and ConsignmentSalequeen.com (which has been gone for quite some time now! SO disappointed!). Anyway, I was WAY underprepared the first time around, and so this time I am doing MUCH better. =) I have a little over 400 items tagged. Still plugging away....we'll see how much I end up with!

Good luck Jill! What JBF sale will you be at? There are so many!

So awesome you collected so much stuff. I hardly hit any garage sales this summer, so I don't have as much as I hoped, but should still have about 400 items. I do have enough to join 2 sales this time (the sale I do has a 200 hanging item limit). Happy Tagging!

I'm in awe... I dons few hundred items and it's an effort. It seems like it takes forever to load and unload my van. How long does it take you. Also if you don't mind my asking how much do you have invested in your inventory ? I mostly just sell stuff I already had from my kids or stuff that did not sell on EBay. You are my consignment sale hero.

I'm doing the Catholic Consignment sale in Virginia. I've been thinking about you (missing your Ebay posts!) but know that you've been super busy tagging items. Oh, and I finally opened an Ebay store and I had a record month in August!

Great job with nearly 800 clothing items alone. The sale I am participating in is on 9/14 and right now I have 860 items. I am going to get creative and somehow get to 1,000. I have some holiday clearance toys I will probably include and since I've decided to clear out my "birthday party" stash (giving gift cards instead from now on), I can sell some new in packaging items too. Good luck to you!

Kim - Good luck with your sales!
Thrifty Momma - I usually start working on tagging and prep about 12 weeks before a sale. With 3 kids I just do it when I can but I will say that I dedicate pretty much all my spare time to getting ready. But I enjoy it and it helps our family so I do it. :) Every season I sell all the outgrown clothing and toys from my own three spoiled kids and then also the stuff I pick up just for resale.
Diana - I miss my eBay posts too. I just am not sure I'm going to be able to keep up this blog, I really have NO time for it. :(
Janis - Sounds like your as crazy as me, good luck at your sale!

Janessa, I know you probably don't have time for this blog, but don't shut it down!! Seriously, even if you can't keep it up, please leave it up for reference. I still look back in your archives every once in a while. =)

Well, today was drop-off day for my consignment sale! I had a mild panic attack as my van refused to start this morning....to make a long story short, I used a girlfriend's car to haul my stuff there. Took me ten minutes shy of 2 hours to put it on the floor. And I was half-running & sweating...Question: How long does it take you to place your items on the floor? I ended up with 496 items, BTW. =) I am in Grand Rapids, MI so I did that sale.

That is a LOT! I wish consignment sales were worth doing here in Utah. I'm still open to it but they aren't very popular that I can tell.
