It's That Time Again!

Is it just me or does consignment sale season reappear in a blink?!

I'm slowly going through tubs, organizing and preparing my items to hang.

Are you selling at a sale this spring?

Are you a veteran or a newbie?

What are your sales and inventory goals for this spring sale?

I'd love to hear!  Good luck and just keep tagging. :)

It's great to see a post from you again! I'm slowly prepping for my usual sale #2, but it will be a lot harder- I skipped #1 this year so I can't just make new tags for this one like usual!

Normally I hope to make $500-$600 at each consignment sale but this year we are hoping to foster and adopt a child! Because we have no idea what age he or she could be (we're hoping for under age 6) I have to save all my clothes and shoes this time! It's such an odd thing to me! Ha ha, I've NEVER saved my kids' clothing before since we have one of each gender. I'll only be consigning books this year (the ones that don't sell well on Ebay!).

I am changing to JBF this year and doing two sales just weeks apart. Different strategies now that I have clothing minimums to contend with and discounting to consider. I even ironed the clothes for the first time! Although the commission % is less, there are more sale days and I don't have to work more than 6 hours. Nice to see you back online. :)

Diana what great news about the new addition to your family. I have a foster daughter and adopted daughter. It is hard not knowing what you will get.

Im thinking about digging my bins out here next week... I decided to only do one spring sale this year, hope I don't regret it but I don't have as much collected as I did last year and this sale that I do I generally sell through better and get a better price for! Fingers crossed, I better get started on tagging soon though!

Good luck with your sales!

just finished sale one of two. its my 2nd season and i sold just over half of my items (around 650-675 sold) to a tune of around 1500 so i was pretty happy. just not sure if i can keep doing it its soooo much work for 1 person with 3 little kids :D im still baffled how you consistently sell 90+% of your items....i even followed all of your advice :D

I just completed my first spring sale. I have one more next month. I didn't collect as much as I hope, nor did I do a good last push to collect and enter. But, I still dropped off about 300 items and sold around 90%. I was happy.
